I thought that was a very interesting thing to have us reflect on, mainly because I did not think about the other applications that a brick could offer.
I do not know if a brick is my style of planning out what to keep, get rid of, or expand to. Yet I do see its value, I think that it is very organized and allows for small amounts of input or large. It also is flexible and makes the next 5 years seem to be very mapped out.
I could see myself using that for lesson plans and activities for the next year. Phasing out what lessons I liked and didn't like, or what new things I would like to try.
Bricks seem to be very utilitous and approachable though. I think that we could have students even make bricks for their schedules for the school year to help give them an idea for the next few years. Or plan their college career. The more I think about them, the more application I can see.
